Mike, a Lighting Director at CNN, is a Washington D.C. based Lighting Designer, and an ensemble member with A Red Orchid Theatre.

Recent work includes Lighting Direction for CNN’s programming at The Democratic National Convention in Chicago, The Source w/Kaitlin Collins, Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?, Election Night 2024, and other CNN programs. Lighting designs for The Radio&Television Correspondents’ Dinner, Cincinnati playhouse, Goodman theatre, The Huntington Theatre, The McCarter Theatre Center, Court Theatre, Detroit Public Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Red Orchid, and others.

 Off Broadway credits include Primary Stages, 59e59, and Cherry Lane. 

Mike is a recipient of Chicago’s Jeff award, L.A.’s Ovation award, and San Diego’s Craig Noel award.

Mike is a member of IATSE Local #2 and United Scenic Artists 829.

he is also a Certified Entertainment Electrician.
